The Guild Downtown | Elm St.

Superb hotel experience. The one bedroom apartment we rented was clean, updated, spacious and modern. The views of Dallas were amazing as were the amenities. Do not be put off by the initial check in on line. It was out of the ordinary, but incredibly efficient. Once you check in a day or two prior to arrival you will receive a text when your room is ready on the day along with a code to enter the building and room. All went according to instructions. We never saw any staff, but they were always there via text when we needed anything or had questions. We received responses immediately and they were very helpful with recommendations for area. We would stay at the Guild again in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone.

The room is very roomy with a washer and dryer. Bed is very comfortable and the shower is awesome....room for two :-) It was a very secured building including it being staffed until the late late night. The staff downstairs was extremely helpful and made the stay even better. Wish there was a swimming pool, but other than that the amenities were great. The restaurant on the 48th floor was awesome with lots of photo opportunities and the staff even helped. Be prepared to take a lot of different elevators, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy.

I stayed recently and had a great experience. The staff was very responsive and attentive to details. They reached out to make sure my check in experience was seamless. The remote check in process was great. The room was spacious, had first-class finishes, was well-appointed, and had a great view. Access to the Tower Club was an added bonus. Great location. Great room. Great price.

This location is central and walkable in Uptown, the desk attendants are friendly, the facility is modern and amenity-rich with a gym and great views, it may not be the best place if you are traveling as a family vs. single or a couple but it could work for some. Rooms have everything you could need, along with being quiet and clean.

Two days before my stay I read a 1 star review I was so tempted to cancel my booking I am glad I didnt. I am not going to lie the key/elevator process was a little confusing at first. THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! Once we got to the room everything was AMAZING trust me the pictures do NO Justice! I got a two bedroom suite to celebrate a surprise bachelorette and it was the perfect room for the night. This location is close to EVERYTHING. Is spacious and perfect for a group or even a date night or getaway I am definitely booking again soon. Also they are available 24/7 through text that was the best part anytime I had a silly questions like where are the sheets for sofa bed etc they where very quick to respond!

Such a unique hotel in a stunning location for a reasonable price. Our stay was wonderful, especially with staffers texting us to check on us and treating us for a special birthday weekend. Loved the building, Tower Club, and overall experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The experience is unique with mobile check-in and no actual lobby, but I really enjoyed it. The amenities were exceptional, with the best coffee I've ever had in a hotel room.

Fantastic room, views and customer service! The room was clean and beautiful. Love that it had a kitchen and living area separate from the bedroom. Bathroom was roomy and gorgeous! Had a luggage rack, extra towels, and so much more room than a hotel room for about the same price. Great communication before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend this place if you plan to spend most of your time downtown and/or Uber places. They provide a physical room key that is in your room when you arrive (in addition to the mobile key that you can access by downloading their app on your phone). I would take this with you just in case - particularly if you plan to stay out late. We had to use this key to get back into the building after a late night, so just a heads up. If you are on the fence, you should definitely give this place a try!
